- An Animation Related to Behaviourism -

I made an animation related to the theory called, behaviourism.

Behaviorist theory uses rewards and punishments to control students’ behaviors and teach them new skills.The theory was popular in the early 20th Century. 

Behaviorism is a theory of learning that believes learning occurs through teachers’ rewards and punishments that lead to changes in behavior (Duchesne et al., 2014; Blaise, 2011; Pritchard, 2013).

Behaviorism is defined in the following ways by scholarly sources:

  • Duchesne et al. (2014, p. 160) state that “behaviourism is a theory that “views learning as a ‘cause and effect’ mechanism, in which external factors lead to a response, and over time, this response becomes a learnt behavior.”
  • Blaise (2011, p. 112) states that “the core feature of behaviorism is that “learning is conditioned by external events or factors.”
  • Pritchard (2013, p. 7) states that “behaviorism is a theory of learning focusing on observable behaviors and discounting any mental activity. Learning is defined simply as the acquisition of new behavior.”

  If you are not conversant in Kahoot, it is a free web-based program that enables lecturers to create inquiries to their students who then respond from a range of answers located on their own devices either individually or by team. Second Life is an  online virtual world where players can socialize, roleplay, and explore in a sandbox environment. In Second Life, players make and customize their own avatars and are empowered to explore the nearly boundless virtual world. Second Life isn't a conventional game, as there are no goals. Instep, players can do whatever they want, but most players ordinarily socialize, roleplay, or explore the endless simulations. Simulations, called sims, are player-created zones, many of which are propelled by well known fictional settings like animes or movies. Second Life is a genuine sandbox game, as all the content is made by its users. In the event that you  imagine it, you can make it. Everything from animations, vehicles, skin surfaces, to clothes are planned by players using 3D modeling and scripting computer program.
